Jesus Anniversary

I read a book a while ago about creating special memories in your family. One of the suggestions was to celebrate the of your child asking Jesus into their hearts. I fell head over heals in love with this idea. So we did it!

We had a celebration for Hudson's Jesus anniversary.  It was fairly low key but really special.
Our good friends were invited over.
We made spaghetti and Hudson served each person at the table. Craig prayed a special prayer for Hudson and we had cake.

There were some really neat presents as well.  Our guest brought Hudson a hand painted Super Jesus shirt  (which he is opening in the above picture) and I made him a Jesus super hero cape.

Celebrating extra special occasions is for sure a Finer Thing

Super cool idea! I had a friend growing up that had that family tradition. My main struggle with that is it caused problems for me and another friend because we couldn't remember the day, and then were struggling with not having a date. So, I'm not sure on what we'll end up doing with that.
