'Tis The Season Thursday *Giveaway*

 Giveaway Closed

Yay! Welcome to the first 'Tis The Season Thursday. Come and link up with your holiday ideas and activities!

One really great family tradition in our home is shoe boxes.
For the past 4 years we have packed Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes.

This year is particularly exciting as Hudson keeps talking about the toys we are giving to the children.
Here are the things we included in our boxes this year. (We did a boy box and a girl box).

Boy Box
  • A foam Number Puzzle
  • Small cars
  • A soft ball
  • Some really great connecting builder toys
  • Stickers
  • A tooth brush
  • A washcloth
  • A bar of soap
  • Wet naps
Girl Box
  • A foam Number Puzzle
  • Small barrettes
  • A soft ball
  • Some really great connecting builder toys
  • Stickers
  • A small purse
  • A tooth brush
  • A washcloth
  • A bar of soap
  • Wet naps
So this week we cranked up the music.

And we packe our boxes.

Hudson then made Christmas cards for the children who will receive our boxes.

We used to love doing operation Christmas child. It was so fun to take the kids to help pick out toys to send out. Now that we left that church though I'm not in contact with who does it still around here. I miss it.

Have a great day my sweet friend.
