The Tuque


 

This is my Grandma. Isn't she cute?  She's modeling the hat I loom knitted for her.  Only here in Canada we call this a tuque.

I looked up tuque on dictionary.com 
I was really excited to see the definition:

tuque [took, tyook]
–noun a heavy stocking cap worn in Canada.

Hurray for being Canadian eh?

    Woohoo... Go Canada!! You should knit some in red & white and sell them for the Olympics ;-)

    P.S. Have you seen those adorable Olympic mittens they have available - I saw them on the CTV news in our area.
