Springtime Giveaway Carnival

This Giveaway is now closed!

Woo Hoo! The Springtime Giveaway Carnival has begun! Hosted by Laura at Heavenly Homemakers. I am so excited to join up and participate in this blog carnival.

So here it is folks! My giveaway:

You can enter to win two handmade cards (made by yours truly). The first is a Mad Hatter card (perfect for wishing someone a very happy unbirthday) and the second is a pretty humming bird card (lovely for mother's day... although no guarantees that you will receive it in time). The cards are blank inside so they can be used for any occasion you see fit to send them.

How to Enter:
1. Leave me a comment telling me about the best gift you have ever received. (This one is mandatory)
2. Follow my blog. (leave me a comment telling me that you did)
3. Blog about my giveaway. (leave a comment telling me you did this and where)

Rules: This giveaway is open to everyone. Contest closes Friday May 1 2009 at 5pm PDT.
If I can not contact the winner within 48 hours a new winner will be chosen. Winner will be notified by email. Winner will be chosen by random.org.

My husband gave me a basket full of Bath Junkie goodies and a new luxurious bath robe from Bath and Body Works. It was such a thoughtful gift and I enjoyed it for months =)

When I was pregnant with our son, my husband surprised me with a big basket of goodies from Earth Mama Angel Baby. They were wonderful and I thought it was so thoughtful. He really is a sweetie!

By the way-your cards are great! What a talent!

Ok, can I talk about a gift I haven't really gotten yet, technically? My hubby just built me a compost tumbler for mother's day. Yay!

Hmmm...the best gift I've been given...cheesy bible answer: salvation - but it's so true!!! :)

It seems that within several weeks on either side of a gift-giving holiday, I always end up with a cat that needs to go to the vet. (I have two indoors and a barnful outside.) I usually just call that my gift - and they certainly do keep on giving. :>) Thanks for the chance!

When I moved out on my own, my parents gave me a cookbook just like the one I'd been using with my family for years :-D

Best gift (s)? My little ones. My first was a bitter-sweet and short-lived gift (a miscarriage) and the other two keep me busy on a daily basis!

My grandmother gave me a book of our family geneology and also her memories. I cherish this gift more than anything! Thanks!

I think the best gift I ever received was a simple small diamond band from my husband for Valentine's Day. It was special because he's not usually someone to buy luxurious gifts and money was tight.

The best gift I ever got would have to be the time one of my dear friends made a scrapbook with pictures and memories of me and her. It was so sweet, and I look at it every so often to remember the good times. :)

Mmm. Best gift. I though getting my engagement ring (actually two of them--long story) was pretty neat!
