First the preliminaries... My name is Sarah Scott. I have been married for five and a half years to Craig and I am a stay at home mom to two great kids. My son Hudson is 3 and my daughter Meadow is 4 months.
Now lets get into the meat and potatoes...
Last night Craig Hudson and I made popcorn and watched "Bee Movie". We have one of those big popcorn pots that you put on the stove burner and turn the crank to the kernels don't burn. Well as I was dumping the popcorn into the bowl a couple of pieces fell onto the burner and caught fire. This greatly excited Hudson who was shouting wildly "Dad fire! The popcorn is on fire!" This was in fact such a thrilling thing that my little popcorn muncher proceeded to call a couple of his grandparents and tell them the story of the flaming snack. (Really it was only like 2 pieces on fire).
On to the lesson I have gleaned from this story...
What is the most exciting thing in my life? What should I be most passionate about? Jesus.
If this is the truth then why am I not calling everyone I know to tell them about the good news?

Like that little piece of popcorn I long to be on fire but fear holds me back. Yet one day I will stand before the judgment seat of Christ and give account of my life... and that is something I should fear much more than man's rejection.
